It depends completely on the person, some people can pull them off, some cant, simple as that

Personally, I think that dreadlocks are not cool. This is because you cannot wash them, and in my humble opinion, they look like potatoes growing out of someones head.
One the other hand, some people may like dreadlocks and the way they look.

They're great, I'm surprised to see the answers here because when someone makes them neat and styles them properly, I've always thought they look sophisticated and unique. You have to make sure that from the very start you "roll" them neatly and learn how to keep them clean. Don't allow them to get all matted and dirty, that takes a lot of patience and commitment though ... good luck!

Dreads? Not really, I would prefer braids and braids only on a Black woman or Latina (just not a good look for white chicks at all).
