Janet, I don't think anyone of faith would want to celebrate secularism.

Janet, there is a sort of secular holiday called the "National Day of Reason".

I would love to have an all day celebration of Halloween.

Better yet, The Winter Solstice.

I'd want a national secular day. Then it really would be a day that everyone could celebrate whatever their faith, culture or nationality

How about a citizen's of the world day. In honour of a country (random) your country hosts celebrations for them. You can buy their flag, eat their foods, have a parade, have people from that country to yours for a huge festive event in their honour. Every country around the world has it the same day and hosts a different country at random each year. Sounds hokey but hey you asked.
