In order to know what something Beautiful looks like, you would have had to see something Ugly or vice versa, right? If you could only feel "cold" and never hot, the you wouldn't even know "cold" was "cold" it would just be the norm, because you've got nothing to compare it too. If you had no sadness in your life, you could never reach the peaks of Happieness in Life, nor could you appreciate any happiensess at all.

The secret to it all is remembering everytime in life you thought "This is it! It's Never going to get better, I'm doomed!" and then things got better. But while you were going though the dark times, its hard to see the light.

Develop your spiritualty (I'm not saying you arent, or havent or anthing like that) but you will find a trust that can be made with God that will help you thought every tough time. The other secret is to appreciate and Love the tough times because you know they will ONLY help you appreciate Great times in life even more.

I'm not pushing a relegion, Spirituality is so much more and so much more personal. The best part is, all the answers are already with you, you've just got to listen in a different way to hear them.

Just practice sharing Love with the days your down in the pit because the further down you go, the further up you come like a rubber band and Remember...If you knew who walked beside you at all times, you would Never be afraid.

Why do we even have rollercoasters? Because of the thrill. That is why life has its up and down. Because without them, there would be no thrill and life would just be a steady train. But at the end of this rollercoaster, you feel a sense of accomplishment. Not because of the ups, but because of the fact that you rose out of the downs. It pays off in the end.

Nothing can get you if you don't let it. It all depends on your perception. It's not the things or events that are bad per se, but it's our reaction to them.

Eg. Someone cut you off on the road - u can choose to let it go, or u can choose to fume over it and ruin half your day.

Someone doesn't love u back - u can choose to not let it get u down and get up and continue living and making the most of ur life, or u can be gloomy and neglect yourself, and think there is no hope for you anymore.

Yes, really bad things can happen that will get you down, but if you choose to react to it positively, and take it as a challenge in life, they are no more "bad" anymore. Challenges help us grow and learn and become stronger. With more n more such challenges, a point will come, where you will become so wise that things wont bother u that easily.

I read this somewhere and I liked it....I am paraphrasing it. It said something like - don't let the good affect you and get you too up, and dont let the bad get you down. Remain on an even keel, remain detached (not numb, but detached). The good will pass, the bad will pass. Don't let ur emotions and moods control you too much. Just believe in yourself and know who u are. This way praises wont get u too up, and insults wont get you down.

Because it's just that: life. To experience ups, you have to experience downs, and vice versa.

You can't live through life without feeling bad at least once, it's natural. Life is not balanced.

ok, picture this. you are standing at a theme park and have a choice:

-the roller coaster ride with loops, twists, speed, ups, and downs

-the roller coaster ride that is flat with nothing to it...not even scenery

which would you pick?
so, enjoy the roller coaster ride!

Yes, it's tough.
But sooner or later along comes a new sidekick and things get cheery again. Keep on the lookout.

Bit like asking why women have curves.

Booyah!

Winning means nothing if you can't loose. Success means nothing if you can't fail. There is no true love without heartbreak. There are no heros without villians.
