Marriage can be a trap if you and your spouse let it be one.Marriage is what you make of it .It can be heaven or hell and sometimes it can start off as hell and end up as heaven and vice versa. If you both work at your marriage than it can be the happiest days of your lives but if one of you gives up and quits caring about the others needs then your headed for hell on earth,Trapped because(s)he doesn't care anymore but you can't find someone else because your married and you don't want a divorce because of kids, finance, time vested.

it depends what u call a trap, its different for everyone, marriage is exclusive meaning u make a vow and stay with that one, and if your not willing to do it it may feel like a trap. chances are if u both have many of the same ideals, character, belief in god, u will not feel that way. its all in who u choose really.

Not really.
If a person doesn't like marriage .. then they can get out of it. That is what divorces are for.
No trap. Just legal binding each to the other.

No. Only if you marry the wrong person. I like to think of marriage as living with my best friend (who is of the opposite sex for me at least) for the rest of my life

If you marry the wrong person it may feel like you are trapped. If you marry the right person it's wonderful.

That's not the trap you should be concerned about.
If I were you I would be worried about the trap known as "contempt prior to investigation."
Or to put it simply for you, ignorance.
Good luck.

No, it's wonderful if you have the right person beside you. My suggestion is to not get married until you feel you are there because you want to be, not because you are 'trapped.' :-)

Marriage just like all things, is what you make it and who you make it with is how you're going to see it.
