2/x+7=9/x+7?

= 7-7=9/x-2/x
= 0=7/x
= 0*7 = x
= 0=x

x = 0

// times x/9 both sides
x=9/2

I haven't done algebra in a while but I'm pretty sure 2 is not equal to 9. I don't think it can be 0 cause I thought when you divide by 0 it is infinity and causes all sorts of problems.

if the question is 2/x+7+1= 9/x+7
then the answer is 7

but you wrote two different questions, one with the +1 and one without

this equation is incorrect because if you multiply both sides by x it'll be 2+7x=9+7x and 7x will cancelled from both sides and ofcourse 2 doesnot equal 9
