I've had a number of what I call mental lapses - I'll give you an example. The other day I decided to drive to the local Arts Center. Then I was in downtown wondering why I was there and trying to figure out what I was down there for, and then I remembered that I was going to the Arts Center - This has happened a number of times and I'm not sure what to do about it.

It could just be you're forgetful or getting older-no offense :D, but you could see a gp if they get worse. My uncle used to have mental lapses, but he called them 'moments of forget', he saw his GP, and now he's fine.
