It's good to be the bigger person and make the first move. If you don't have anything to be sorry about though I wouldn't apologize. ( for example if he is physically abusive) Problem solve about your needs so that it won't continue to happen.

Unfortunately, I don't like saying I'm sorry. (But I'm working on it) So, the fight lasts longer than it should because of my stubborness. But it's best to apologize and move on! Why waste all that time on fighting when you could spend it on more fun things:)

This will sound bad...but I'm mostly right...so I am not the one who apologizes! Seriously...I know the men roll their eyes at that...but anyway...he loses his temper faster than I do and so he always needs to apologize first, because once he raises his voice I shut him out until he can show me the respect I deserve and talk to me like an adult...not yelling.
