Freeze-dried!
ETA: As an alternative to burial, cremation is no longer green enough, say environmentalists, because it releases smoke and mercury, and thus the industry is considering "promession," in which the body is frozen in liquid nitrogen to minus-320 degrees (F) and then shaken until it disintegrates into powder.

I merely had to be buried by using actuality i'm somewhat into the finished being one with the Earth component. i had to be laid to sit down down back interior the earth, decompose and be one with the planet that gave me life, and return as yet yet another style interior the Earth. A flower, a tree, you comprehend the placement i pass. yet that would now not plausible in the present day. you're sealed up in a plastic bag, then coffin, then it somewhat is located precise right into a concrete field and then buried. i do now not prefer that. i do now not desire to soak up actual property, i desire to BE actual property. So, i'd desire to truly be cremated and my continues to be scattered alongside the eastern Coast of Canada. the placement i'm somewhat at abode, at peace and at loosen up.

I want to be cremated and have my ashes rolled into a huge joint which will be smoked by my loved ones. My boyfriend wants us to be frozen, so if they find a cure for whatever killed us in the future, they can bring us back. I'm not really up for that though. I like my idea better.

You mean the new method where they freeze your body in liquid nitrogen that's -320 C and shake the body until it disintegrates into a fine powder?
Then that.
It's the most environmentally-safe way.
I read about this in the news the other day. I don't remember what the method's called.
