I'm 13 too, and personally I like anything from Alfred Hitchcock. Rear Window, and Psycho especially. I'd also recommend anything from the Marx Brothers, stuff like Duck Soup and Night at the Opera.

You can look to the new where the technique was used for authencity- Schindler's List, Sin City, Time before tomorrow
