Is it true that if your not accepted to one of the other Uc's that you apply to that you will still be referred to and accepted by Riverside or Irvine as long as your UC eligible????????????

It probably used to be true -- since they were the two lowest ranked UC schools. Now that Merced has opened, things may have changed.

it's not true for irvine, but it is true for riverside. People who are rejected from Irvine or other UCs get letters from riverside stating their acceptance.

When was irvine ever a low UC? Irvine's the 4th or 5th best UC.
