So is the House!

I think that if our Representatives don't do what we have hired them to do, they should all be fired. Remember, we are their employers since we sent them to Washington to represent us.

Some of these @ss holes have been there for so long they don't know what it's like out in the real world. When was the last time that Teddy Kennedy had to buy a gallon of milk and seen that it cost about $4?

When has Harry Reid personally seen the illegal aliens out begging for jobs at the local Home Depot or strip mall and that they are harassing shoppers?

When Has Hillary ever filled up a car with gas and seen that it costs over $50 for a full tank?

TERM LIMITS!

As long as they can have family members on the payroll and work for lobbyist firms, it is not going to be "for the people". listen 'if it walks like a duck, quacks like duck, then it must be a duck" and that's what is going on.

You have senators whose husband work with other countries on deals and all sorts of stuff. How much greed can there be. You cannot take it with you.

i wouldn't clean house, but you have t admit there is a core of about 25% I would hold on to.

Look at how ironic it was that they voted themselves a $40,000 pay raise, yet minumum wage stayed the same. I a family they are on welfare, a family of six and we help them.. He has two handicapped kids and one of the children has had t have major surgeries, with out medicaid, the kid might not be here. He could get a job making minimum wage, but would not be able to feed the family, nor have a place to live. He states it's worth $60,000 a year.

Every time they mention a raise to the wage, it's like it will end the country. So you got ten employees and give them a $1 an hour raise. They can pass the cost on. like the Micheal Jordan tennis shoes that cost over $100 years back. they cost $2 to make overseas and shipping sure is not $98. Why not make them here and they might cost $10 to make and sell for $110, if that.

How can a family making the $5 an hour bringing in $400 a week and then paying 25% on taxes and FICA make it. I wrote many of the senators about the gas situation in 2000.
I would rather pay $4.99 for a can opener that lasts, made here, than one that costs 99 cents and cost 3 cents to make that breaks. Take care.

In closing it will take a heck of an effort to do this and fortunately there are American people who will make the sacrifice and many of them are fighting in Iraq right now, so it can be done and I believe as the Japnaese General said, "I believe we have awoken a sleeping LION.

Well the American people can do that if they want. Of course there are a few Senators who are just fine, some I would like to see stay right where they are. Then of course there's the ones like Sen. Kennedy, that beached whale needs to go. But his state keeps voting for him,so they get what they deserve.

In a guy or woman difficulty, definite, if somebody is dumb sufficient to purchase a lemon for that a lot, that's greater their fault than the sellers fault. they might merely flow purchase a lemon for much less someplace else. despite the fact that, in maximum places i've got self assurance there are regulations approximately how a lot they are in a position to fee for products in shops and whatnot. If all lemons without warning fee one hundred dollars for no reason, it does not be ok.

No, as much as I believe they have been very ineffective and I am no fan of my Senator the reason we don't do that, is we need someone who has some clue how committees and the system works or even less would get accomplished then now.

Interesting thought experiment though.

Not ALL, some should stick around to show the new guys what to do. We can pick 10 names out of a hat.

TERM LIMITS FOR EVERYONE. If the President has to abide by them why not everyone else?

I LIKE your thinking and Ack... WE AGREE! However...this would boot your guy out of Congress too..assuming y'all meant both houses..

Anyway, TERM LIMITS R the way to go!

We should write to our reps!

Thanks for the idea!
