If a 757 hit the Pentagon?

Question

How come there wasn`t a 757 sized hole in the Pentagon?
Also, what became of the tail? Tails have a nasty habit of not burning and being at the back of crashed planes, surviving intack.

Frostypeanut :- raisng the wings is a very good point. but that raises another point. Asssuming the plane hit with the undercarriage up:-

if it landed short of the taget the engines would have been ripped off and the momentum of the plane would have carried it forward.

If it flew straight into the building I would expect wing sized holes in the building, as you suggest, but still two clear engine housings around the impact zone.

Guys the fighter jet is not a good example, first because it is a not the sort of engine in a commercial airliner, secondly because you don`t get to se the aftermath of the crash. Was there a hole in the concrete block?

this is the second biggest hole in the 9/11 story, the first being building number 7 being demolished, on the day!!!! by larry silverstein.....9/11 pre planned and an inside job

to answer some others, sorry no plane so no passengers, no footage? surely the pentagon would have the most cameras covering every metre of exterior wall? still no footage?

no plane has ever disintegrated 100% on impact---first time in history if this was true---sorry plane crashes leave debris !!

Yes, the hole in the Pentagon was somewhat smaller than the diameter of the plane.

This is explained by Professor Mere Sozen, a “Kettelhut Distinguished Professor Civil Engineering” at Perdue University.

Professor Sozen says that it’s the energy of the plane, not its size, that determines the size of the hole. The plane is not a cartoon character that punches out its outline.

Moving at 531 MPH it’s more fluid than solid, & this explains why you get the hole you got.

The tail continued into the stopped plane material in front of it and was destroyed.

CLAIM: No plane debris was found. It “evaporated.”
FACT: This nonsensical claim was made up by the theorists. There isn’t an official or scientist who claims this.

In fact, clear wreckage of a plane was found & photographs were printed in all the papers. Here's a nice photo from 9/11 that clearly shows plane wreckage:

In addition the “American Society of Civil Engineers” & the “Structural Engineering Institute” (both are non-governmental) investigated the Pentagon crash. Their report is called "The Pentagon Performance Report" & it’s at:

The report contains abundant references to plane debris & body parts found in the Pentagon. For example, on page 26 it says:

“The remains of most of the passengers on the aircraft were found near the end of the travel of the aircraft debris. The front landing gear (a relatively solid and heavy object) and the flight data recorder (which had been located near the rear of the aircraft) were also found nearly 300 ft into the structure. By contrast, the remains of a few individuals (the hijacking suspects), who most likely were near the front of the aircraft, were found relatively close to the aircraft’s point of impact with the building."

The anomolies surrounding the Pentagon attack are puzzling, made more so by the government's refusal to release a video that actually shows a 757.However, I have found that this issue only serves to muddy the waters and act as a trojan horse for those seeking the truth about 9/11.

Right-o! And on the subject of holes in the Pentagon, why were there no holes for the wings OR the tail? Just a great big round hole.
Oh, and they said that the plan skid through the grass, hitting the pentagon, yet there were no skid marks on the grass.

All our lives we have seen the remains of plane crashes either taking off or landing. (Speed anywhere from 80 to 130 to 250mph) There are tails, engines and landing gear. Never, in the history of flight have we seen a commercial jet impact a concrete building at 530 mph. Do you know that in fact there would be debris? No. We have never seen this before.
That video of the fighter jet impacting a concrete block at full speed? Turned to powder. No tails, engines or landing gears. No further questions your honor.

You are right! Nothing hit the pentagon! They photo-shopped in the images of a burning building to swindle millions of repair dollars out of the pockets of the Americans ( who have health-care issues, hunger, homelessness, and an increasing elder population that is un-cared for) just in time for the banks to take their homes, whew!


GSP! It must have been the ALIENS!! Perhaps the flight crew and passengers are somewhere on area 51?!

I lost two people I knew who were on that plane. I don't care about the size of the hole. I only worry about the size of the hole in your head!
