My husband has today off and he knows how sick I am because I was in ALOT of pain all throughout the night, and he just went out with my daughter to a restuaraunt knowing that his wife is extremely sick at home. How would you feel if your spouse did that to you?

He is most likely thinking that it would be better to let you have some time to your self.My hubby pulled some thing like that and when he got back and I said that I was mad he said he thought I would be able to rest better.Men show affection weird.....give him the bennifit of the doubt that he is doing it so you get some quiet....But it does make ya feel like ****

Your sick and he's taken your daughter out ? whats the problem? he is giving you some peaceful rest time why are you on line if your so sick?

My 2nd husband used to come home from work see I was sick and couldnt move when I had my bout's of bronchial tonsilitis , so he'd pack the fishing gear up take all 7 kid's to the beach and keep them there for 4 or 5 hour's . Enjoy it there are stacks of women on here who's husband's dont give a glowing rats behind and still bug them for dinner and sex .

Go back to bed and enjoy the peace and quiet .

Well maybe he was trying to get your daughter out of your hair so you could rest? Try to give him the benefit of the doubt. My spouse would help me and I would love it if he took all three kids and left the house so I could rest. If this is not the case and he is just selfish, then the next time he is really sick just make his favorite dinner, and dessert. He will get the point. Other than that tell him you thought it was rude, and you could have used some help around the house, and that you did not like being abandoned. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.

Hmm....I'm not so sure.

He could have been trying to get everyone out of the house so you could rest. If this was the case, then that's very nice of him.

He could have been trying to avoid you because he didn't want to get sick. If that's the case, that's very selfish of him.

He could have not noticed you were sick and planned a play date without you. If that's the case, then he's not really "selfish", he's oblivious.

Take your pick. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he wanted you to have quiet time and rest in peace, personally.

Good luck

Well it depends what kind of pain we are talking here. If you had a miscarriage or just had surgery, then Yes. If not, NO! Maybe he wanted to let u rest and enjoy some time alone with your daughter. I think that's sweet that he's taking time for his kid! Most mom's would enjoy the "Me" time! Rest up dear!

How about if he just took your daughter out of the house to leave you alone so you could rest? Have you talked to him about your sickness? I know, you probably think he could see how sick you were. But trust me, us men can be really insesitive at times. Sometimes you need to explain yourself like if you were talking to a 5 yr old. Maybe he didnt mean bad..but only you know him. Hopefully you can tell him ho you feel...I hope you feel better! good luck.

Maybe he wants you to rest and feel better.

I know if I was sick and my husband took my daughter out to eat, I would not mind at all.

Would you rather cook when your sick or take a minute to rest?

Did he bring you food back or ask if you wanted to go? You may be making mountain out of a mole hill. Eat some chicken soup and get some sleep, don't waste your energy being mad.

Take the time off to rest! You could be twisting things around or just flat out talk with him once you get better.

Sounds like he was giving you some quiet time. Don't read anything into it. Your sick right now and probably a little over sensititve. Get to feeling better!
