Personally i think it's a bad idea, and i'm aware that i'm in a minority group here. My point is...... will this mean prices in the already expensive Aberdeen will rocket even further, to the point that us Aberdonians can't afford to live in our own city any longer? Come on people, we've already had the oil boom. Look what that's done to property prices among other things. I have two jobs and i'm still struggling to make a living up here. Rich Americans move in and how are we expected to pay the inflated prices that will appear once businesses realise that they have a lot of money? It is a case of "local hero?" "I want to buy the beach....?" Thoughts and opinions please, as this has caused one hell of a kick up in the local papers recently.

His mother was from Scotland so he wants to build a golf course here???? Oh come on!!!! Who's really falling for that?? It's not about his mother, it's about his money and success. Balmedie is a beautiful natural stretch of beach - has anyone walked on it as the sun sets like i have been doing for years????. It would break my heart to see if being ripped up by JCBs and told that i'm no longer allowed to walk there. Come on.
