as I am not a masochist, I do not listen to Metallica's "S&M."

I haven't really listened to S&M at all. I have to agree with Godhatesme531, Metallica haven't brought out anything of musical value since the Black album!!!
I guess they either started believing their own hype, or they lost their passion for the music? Having said that, No leaf clover is a brilliant song.... let's hope that when the new album comes out, it'll be a return to the glory days of Master of puppets!!

Metallica was a great band once. Then they released a horrible album called Load and they were done. Nothing good has come from them since.

I think S&M is a great album! It's an interesting combination, metal and symphony music. It works out really well musically and there's a lot of great tunes on it. My favorite is Battery.
