Its a 1997, with 83K. Its not a smoke or burning, its more like steam from the engine closest to the windshield. Any reason why? Thanks.

check radiator and stop driving that car and check the car from the dealer or professional mechanic

It's an Antifreeze leak somewhere, look at the heater hoses, or if it's direcrtly from the engine could be a head gasket.

Head gasket. Ain't gonna be cheap. Look for a domestic car next time.

You might want to check your antifreeze to me it sounds like your car is over-heating! And if everything looks fine to you I would bring it to a full-service gas station!

Its a BMW what did you expect they are all junk and very expensive to maintain. Its probably just a hole in one of your coolant hoses. bring to a mechanic and have it checked out.

cracked or rotted hoses, thermostat housing could be cracked, intake gasket leak
