ARGH! Getting rid of smelly odors? (PLEASE READ)?

Question

I'm EXTREMELY stressed out. I'm having guest come over for dinner in one hour and the house STINKS.
First, I was cooking fish, which made my apartment smell like stinky fish. I noticed a stinky smell coming from my daughter's bedroom. Turns out my dog has pooped there, which made my apartment smell WORSE.
While I was cleaning it up, the fish started to BURN on the stove which added a nice burnt smoky odor to it all.
THEN, my daughter decides to spray a generic brand of air freshener everywhere, and the flowery scent is MIXED with everything else.

So, basically my house smells like burnt fish and poop MIXED WITH flowers.

I can't leave the house either because my husband has the car!!

So how can I get rid of this disgusting smellyness before the guests arrive? HELP!

Open the windows and run a fan for starters. Make sure the fan is pointing outwards pulling air out of the house. Then you can make some quick progress by taking some vanilla extract or cinnamon and mixing it with water. Boil this on the stove for a quick nice scent that will smell like you are baking.

Okay this works If you have cooking vanilla use couple tbsps with a couple cups of water put in pot and boil on stove. Or, take a couple sticks of cinnamon break it up put in glass dish (powdered cinnamon will work too)add a little water (if you have some apples cut up a few and throw them in)and bake at 350 just keep opening oven and the smell will waft through the house like an apple pie. Last resort pop some pop corn in the microwave. I tried to think of things that you might already have in house. They all work. And they work immediately.Good luck

If you have any oranges or lemons, slice them and put the slices-gently squeezed throughout the house.
Open windows, wipe the grease up from the cooking, wash the pan so the odor producer is silenced. Wash the poop spot with some vinegar and water.

anything else added will just add to the combo of smells.

if cold out, crank the heat, open the windows and put every fan possible in the windows to start sucking the air out.

you need to change over the air in the house to get the smell out. then something like fabreeze on material items in the house should remove any lingering smell.

even some baking soda and a fresh vacuum of the carpet cant' hurt either.

if you can't leave, open the wondows or turn any exhaust on. spray air freshener, light candles, insense.

but if by chance you can pick up something from the store, i recommend arm and hammer carpet and room odor eliminator. it gets rid of even set in smells. just sprinkle it all over the floor and vaccum.

Open your doors and windows for three minutes and spray an odor neutralized like Fabreze. If you don't have Fabreze, suirt lemon juice around the fish and wipe it up.

open the windows first open the front door last.

and then instead of spraying your appartment just put alot of lemon juice on your door and around your entrance.
see smell is mostly nostral and the nostral sensors drop odors when they are absorbed so in other words you cant smell something when you have already smelt it once. its like a perfume shop. so fill theire nostrals with lemon which is sweet to the nostral sensors .... but remember it makes them hungry.... bye

Do you have anything yiou can bake like brownies or something? The baking smell might cover the other smells??????
Other than that you might mop with a lot of Pinesol at least the house will SMELL clean

Bake some cookies. I was cooking broccolli rigt before an open house, and the cookies took all thebroccolli smell away, and smelled soooo goood! Yum!
