That would be more expensive than using fish chum, so who would do it? I mean, it's one thing to be vicious, but vicious _and_ wasteful with money?

Many species of shark eat mammals. Once one realizes that in other cultures, dogs and cats are looked upon as a food source, it's not at all suprising that they're used for fish bait.
The equivalant for us would be using peices of pork chop to catch a catfish, or a chicken leg to catch crabs.

Yes in some places they are used for shark bait but mostly when they are already dead so dont worry I still think is sad.

yeah it happens all the time, some people are like that, you gotto remember in this enlightened age of reason there are people willing to sell there own children for drugs, sad but true. At least you still care enough to at least say something about it.

whats so sad about it? its an animal. your pet goldfish is an animal but u wouldnt care if that was being fed to sharks. they're not humans so they shouldnt be treated or thought of as
