My friend, Monica, is an accomplished harpist who frequently plays for weddings, receptions, parties and other such events. She is also blonde and has an appropriately cherubic face.
She was on her way to an engagement at a hotel and stepped into an elevator with her large golden harp. Just before the doors closed, a distinguished gray-haired man stepped on.

As the elevator rose, he looked thoughtfully first at her and then her harp and asked, "And just how far up are you going?"

What a quick and clever remark. I hope she had an appropriate response!

I wouldn't ride on an elevator with a gorgeous golden harp, because I'm so klutzy I'd fall into the strings and break a half-dozen of them. For the sake of harmony, I'd wait for the next car.

Hahahahaaaa 22 and 11 are hilarious. I did some thing equivalent to #7, instead of 'ding' I mentioned 'arrival'. additionally did some thing equivalent to #4, no longer a handshake, purely a hi with a brilliant smile.

Clever with great sense of humor. I also hope she had an equally clever remark.

Let's see ..... distinguished looking, gray-hair, quick, clever and great sense of humor. Can you find out more about exact location? I may have to ride a few elevators.

I loved it! LOL
Yes, I'd get on the elevator, I'd be mighty disappointed if we stopped before we got to the 'all the way to the top' though.
