Drinking on Metformin - should I skip it for a big party tonight?

I am on metformin, but not diabetic.

'm in college but don't really drink that often. Tonight there is the big holiday dance, and I realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly want to drink/am going to drink. I know I'm going to get a lot of responses saying just not to drink but keep in mind that I am going to - should I skip taking it tonight or should I just take it anyway ?

I would recommend checking with your pharmacist as well before skipping it to see what they say.
