My little cousin is a 5th grader and she's doing a science fair project on "Which Solar Cooker Cooks the Fastest?" I'm not very fond of the wording of the question. The "Cooks" next to "Cooker" seems odd to me. Can anyone fix this? Keep to the topic! Or.. does it actually sound alright and I'm just wrong?

This retired English professor thinks it's fine as is. After all, one doesn't expect erudite language from a fifth-grader, and her title is neat and to the point. "Fastest" is better than "quickest," because "fast" is one of the very few adverbs in English that can form their comparative and superlative forms with "-er" and "-est." "Quickest" is only an adjective, and the question calls for an adverb. And there's no need to use more words or to use a less exact one than she used.

In short, it ain't broke, so don't fix it. : )
