Yes, the Libs LOVE him. They even support him by buying gasoline from CITCO, which is owned by and supports Venezuela's Marxist regime.
Chavez will likely stay in power until his death.
As in all Marxist societies, the leader will NOT allow free elections. (They may permit "rigged" elections to keep up appearances.) Democracy is DEAD in Venezuela.
NEVER vote for a Socialist leader or you run the risk that they are using Socialism as a shortcut to TYRANNY.

I seriously doubt that he will last as long as his Marxist buddy Fidel has lasted in Cuba. However, left wing America-haters like Sean Penn and Danny Glover will do all that they can to prop up America's enemy, Chavez. Why don't these America-haters move to Cuba if they love Marxism so much?

I give him no more than 2 years, especially if he wins this referendum and begins to exercise a lot of his new powers, such as suspending habeus corpus in time of emergencies, redrawing the political boundaries within the country, censoring the media, expropriating private property without due process, etc.
