Clearer in what way ?

USB 2 runs to about 480MB/s and FW comes in 2 flavours,
400MB/s and the faster 800MB/s but MOST devices are 400

If you mean for video capture from a camcorder, I'd say Firewire evertime, it was DESIGNED as a digital video system, hence it's other common name "DV" Digital Video
