Okay, no excuses because if a team is playing on NBC and loses to Navy and Air Force then something is wrong. Also, if Notre Dame coach was black he would be out the door probably applying for a position at UPS.

yes he should get a free pass. black people get free passes all the time in our society. we've laid down completely and the government just hands out all sorts of things.

NO! There are no free passes! My team is Kentucky and if they lost to Navy and Air Force on national television, the coach (white or black) would be out the door. With a push!

It doesn't matter what we think. Charlie Weis is going to get a free pass anyway.

I'm not going to get into the race thing, but I thought Ty Willingham got a bum deal at ND. In my opinion he should still be the coach.

Uh...You would give him some time if you were the one paying his contract...Depends how much guaranteed money they would have to pay if they fired him...
