Did I get Rejected!!?

Question

I really like this girl that stays in my dorm, she stays like 5 feet away. I met her studying, and thought we hit it off. Then the next day I see her studying and talk and ask her for her number, I said this

" Look I think your really cool, and I was wondering if i could keep in contact with you, I'm not going to call you soon cause finals are picking up but i have this way that if i don't talk to someone every now and then Ill never see them."

She said " I'm on your floor, if you want to talk to me just knock on my door in right next door to you, I'm going to be here next semester so your going to see me all the time, just stop by.

I don't know if she was just saying that to say that, to be nice, because people do visit other people i guess, or she was saying knock on my door.

I saw her last night she was staring at me, i act like i didn't see her cause i thought she rejected me, did she...I said hi to her today on the elevator.

Did I get rejected, should i visit?

she did not reject u she gave u an open invitation to visit her, silly boy. your ego was hurt over something u only imagined. u need to visit if u like this girl before someone else moves in on your territory. put away that ego and don't let every little comment hurt your feelings.

If I were in her shoes, it sounds like you were not confident in asking what your intentions were, so yeah, that is why she suggested for you to stop by. Girls like a guy with confidence, and don't particularly care for when a guy says he will call you, and then he doesn't. You asked for her number, but then said you weren't going to call for how long? Yeah, mixed messages, hello!

So stop by, visit her, and see how it goes. If you want her number, ask her if you could call her sometime, but don't start piling on "I'm not going to call you soon cause finals are picking up but i have this way that if i don't talk to someone every now and then Ill never see them." Don't ever tell a girl that again unless you want them to not have any interest in you.

Go knock on her door. Quit trying to second guess the conversation. You don't need her phone number if she lives next door.

Stop by and see how she reacts. She may have been trying to keep you at a distance in case you're one of those guys who calls alot, esp. since you felt the need to tell her you wouldnt call her soon. Thats another reason in itself, she probably felt like "why am I gonna give this dude my number is he's admitting that he wont call me".....see how she acts next time you stop by

i dont think she rejected u at all, if u want to visit her then do . personally i dont think she would of said knock on my door if she didnt mean it what would be the point lol ... hope that helps x

Not rejected. Don't give her too much info next time. You should have shut up after ...keep in contact with you.

Why didn't you go to her room ....Dummy........She was staring at you and you didn't do anything.......again dummy....More than likely you have blown a chance to get to know her better............What is wrong with you...You want her number ,but you think she turned you down by telling you to stop by her room anytime.......Again dummy...........
