I am a helpfull person, but.......how to answer the same questions over and over: what are the living costs in the UAE, how much can I save, visa rules, what to see in the UAE etc.
People asking the same questions over and over. All these questioners sitting at their PCs and asking these questions instead searching the net. How I am I supposed to answer "how much money can I save?" Do I know your life style? "How much is food and clothes in the UAE?" Do I know where you go shopping?
"Do I need a visa to enter the UAE?" Why do you not check it out on the internet?
Why are people asking so many questions which they could figure out by theirself by searching the net?
Please do not get me wrong. If anybody has a question I am willing to help out, but......please check the net before you ask. Maybe the answer is giving already.
Is ths to much to ask for?

Hi H -BTW how's the situation after that diplomatic passport row in a hostile airport?
I agree with you and you're right - I keep on answering and answering almost the same type of questions which are really very common and have asked almost the nth time in the UAE Section. And my reply? the same reply over and over again.
But this is what I've found out - most of the askers of those trivial questions are really newtimers and just greenhorns here in YA. Sometimes I've got bored and jsut feeling the like to ignore them. However, everytime I'm going to see some stup*d and idiot*c answers from other member of the community - I feel uneasy and will just say to myself - "hey these people deserve more than this and it's not their fault being a neophyte in this section". Blame it to my nature perhaphs.
I can see first time askers appreciate the infos I have given & some of them following it up - I can see as well first time askers just leaving their questions unattended (but very rare) but knowing I was able to help with the infos - it satisfies me.
UAE Section is full of askers wanting to be in the UAE and I understand the reasons for asking.
All I can do is strecth further my patience and try to give the best possible answers that I can knowing sometimes before - I was too ignorant as well of the region and probably as dumb and as annoying as the others !!!
Hey - remember, you are the resident master here.... you lead, I'll help !!! how's that?

Hi H,
I agree with you. Some people are just lazy and expect others to do their own jobs. As for myself, I will only ask questions here in Y!A when I cannot find the answers in the net. I will appreciate more if the answerers also post links, so I can do my own research further.

Believe me, it is not just the UAE section that it happens in! People keep asking the same questions over and over in other sections too! Why can they not go to the answers that previous similar questions got?!?!

You are right; I already have stopped asking all those questions we can find the answers of by searching net. Anyway, your point is valid.

I agree and understand your frustration. I find myself answering the same questions over and over again. I am with you to say that the answers to these questions can be found in the internet by just typing in a few keywords. Or even clicking that "DISCOVER" button and finding the answers in past Questions and Answer. =)

you are helpful indeed in answering all about UAE,and u're right, people can search for themselves but u know, getting a second opinion or hearing it fm a person himself makes a bit more realistic and approachable!
well done anyways!

you're the best "h" ..
you almost said all what i think of when i see repeated questions ..
and Y! answers allow you when answering the question to know if it was asked before .. but what can we say !!
anyways .. my advice is to ignore these questions .. there's no rule or something that obligates you to answer .. but i still see it very nice of you 2 be that helpful ..
so don't bother yourself .. its made for fun and help =)

properly, i for my area think of that females could now and lower back ask boys out, merely reason i'm a guy and dont have the midsection to ask them out myself. yet i think of why lots of the adult adult males are worried approximately asking is approximately what unusual rumours would be around as quickly as he asks. now and lower back it facilitates if the female asks, that's going to offer the boy a splash vanity.
