Someone named jan G said this on my other question about my party tonight.
Otherwise, I've heard nothing else about this.

I don't know about the rumor....simply don't pay that much attention.

What I'd LIKE to see is a new Y/A with a membership fee. Maybe we could get rid of the 12 year olds and those who act like they are.....

Clean off the racists, bigots, those who insinuate profanity, those who get their kicks flagging everyone or thumbs down everyone to get questions pulled-for fun....and get rid of the mental midgets who can't put a thought together in a sentence or paragraph but just ramble on and on about sex, gay and lesbian, Arabs - yada yada.

That would be nice....send them all to MySpace with the teenyboppers.

If you click onto the Yahoo Blog (at the top of the page under where it says "Web Search" it says Answers Home - Forum - Blog - Help) There might be some information in the Forum too. Scroll through the Yahoo Blog topics and you might find something about Mash and what they are planning on doing. The last we heard about it they were changing 360 during early January. We've still got our 360 but a lot of folk have joined the mad exodus to Multiply and other such sites. We went to Multiply but prefer it on Yahoo Q&A and 360 and the Groups we are members with. xx

Q and A? No, its 360 that's shutting down, so some of us 360'ers are reluctently schlepping to other "social interaction" sites. If Q and A closes, the Yamster will seriously have to open up rehabs all over the world. Like Fred Sanford, some of us seniors might even have the "Big One." Perish forbid!

needless to say YA is greater advantageous than chatting. I did chatting for 3 years (2004 to 2006) with all form of naughty combos - yet ultimately its uninteresting and monotonous. i'm in YA for greater beneficial than 5 years and nonetheless persevering with. My 1st identity (swpapn42k) have been given locked after it reached 56000 score. nonetheless i like it.learning, 70% time pass and 25% entertainment. YA is 50% learning, 40% entertainment and 10% time pass ! SO YA is greater advantageous.

I hadn't heard anything about it. I did hear they weren't going to have the 360 profile anymore, but I didn't have that anyway. I love this site, there's so much more to share and learn, I hope it doesn't close. Where did this info come from?

I have not heard anything about Yahoo Answers closing.

BUT Yahoo 360 is "changing" to something else, sometime. They are being really secretive and no concrete dates are set.

But Answers I have heard nothing about.

I too have read the rumor. Doubt that yahoo would tell us before it happened. Restructuring would be good for them. I wouldn't mind them being a bit more hands on for multiple accounts and ugliness.

Not Q&A, but 360 is morfing into something called MASH,
and that will be by invation only. You have to get an invation
from one of the members.
