Jay Feaster publicly announced that if the Lightning do not turn around their poor play by Christmas, he will break up the core guys of Vinny, Marty, Richy, and Dan Boyle.

Can the Lightning pull this out?
If not, what trade do you see happening?

YOu need to learn to read TB...they 'MAY' break up the core unit...didn't say they 'WILL'

There were other disturbing facts that make me question if Feaster was indeed making these comments after happy hour

The Lightning salary is $43.7MM
The NHL average right now is $43.8MM

So, despite Feaster's assertions, they are a middle of the road team!

I'm not sure that dishing off your star players to other squads is really going to help you Jay....really I don't.

How about trading Feaster?
Chris-TheBeleafer,I,d love to see Darcy Tucker back with the Lightning,of course not at the expense of our four top players

Not saying JFJ would do this but we could take some of those guys off your hands. Just thinking out loud here, Leafs have a goalie and some defensemen that could benefit from a change in scenery. Throw in the right draft choices and .....
Never mind. Fergy hates draft choices, can't handle all the confusion, says it confuses him.

TB: Why must you continue to disturb me with these horrible articles. Let's hope this interview was after happy hour. Very unsettling. I wonder how badly they will lose tonight. I will not be watching the game, due to other obligations.

EDIT: Maybe I am a jinx.......Didn't watch the game and they won.

He will have fire sale because the owner wants out. Macleans consortiom fell through as there was infighting. Will Balsile step up again?

he should split them up. it sucks to loose that much talent i know, but they are too expensive. He needs to move Richards and his 7.8 million dollar contract so he can resign Lecavalier and bring in a suitable goal-tender
