Assisted suicide is OK with me. After all, America was founded on the principles of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." If you are in so much pain that you think you'd be better off dead, than I think you should have the right to die on your own terms.

Euthanasia is a different story, because people can't be trusted with that much power over someone else. Who would you trust to decide if you should be allowed to die?

Absolutely in favour of both as long as they are voluntary in nature and the person has had appropriate counseling prior to their departure from this plane of existence.

No doubt the Christians and right to life types will object and give me thumbs down on this, but hey listen up children, you have NO right to dictate laws to non believers and it's time that laws were passed that allow others to do as they wish in matters such as this.

I am not really 100% sure how I feel about those subjects.I waffle between believing it is a personal choice and between thinking it is inmoral and a easy way out.
I have known several people with terminal problems who fought to stay alive and some people who killed themselves for no apparant reason.
I put my dog to sleep when it was close to his time to go because I couldn't stand to see him suffer,i would also hate to see anyone suffer if they had no hope of recovering.

Coming from a Native-American background, and a Christian upbringing, I would say that life is sacred. But c'mon! If the person can no longer go on, why prolong his pain by prolonging his life?
