My dear Kika, once you post something online, it is fair game. There is no way including using PDF format to keep people from stealing work posted online. Of course it is illegal, but there is sadly no way to prevent it.
The fact is, from the moment you write something, you own the copyrights to it. You don't even need to file with the Library of Congress. It is automatic. You own your intellectual property. However no copyright is worth more than the high priced lawyer you hire to defend it. What if you live in Nebraska and the person stealing it lives in Malaysia? Are you going to hold the trial in Germany - somewhere in the middle? You can't. There is no way you can afford such a trial.
The only way to protect your work is to not show it to anyone until you are ready to attempt to publish it. Sell your poems to magazines. There are books you can buy in the bookstore that are relatively expensive which list sources that purchase short stories and poetry. Mind you, they aren't going to pay you a lot. The poet laureate of the United States recently sold a poem to a magazine. 5 line poem. Got 5 dollars a line or 25 whole dollars. It isn't a lucrative thing to do.
However it will have your name on it. Yes, it can still be stolen after that, but you will at least have the satisfaction of seeing your poem published with your name. Even if you send them to magazines free.
I have said it here a million times and obviously not everyone has gotten the message. DO NOT PUBLISH YOUR WORKS ONLINE OR THEY WILL BE STOLEN.
There is no plainer way to say it. And no publisher will touch works already published online. It presents a huge problem for them determining the original ownership. It is expensive for their legal dept to track that information down and they would just as soon not bother. So more and more they are stating in their guidelines that they will not touch works previously posted online.
That is why I no longer have a website and won't. I know young kids enjoy the accolades they get from their peers for the work they post online, but it just means you will be plagiarized. That is the sad truth. Sorry.

Posting Online always has this problem. They will write it with a pen on paper and you can NEVER catch them...
Stop posting online otherwise wait till u have t buy ur own poems from the market with someone else's name.

You can copyright them with forms you can get at the patent office on the web or at your local library.
You can also include code on your site to prevent the highlighting of text which makes copy and pasting hard.

it's actually good that you don't right about the more often cliche things but i'd say try to stay on the subject but when you're writing try to walk around that subject like write about things slightly off your main subject but closely relating to it. overall for a bit of an early writer I'd say 4/5

I would stop posting them there, or anywhere else for that matter, if they are being "stolen" from you.
Join a poetry group at school or at your local library (my library has poetry slams every month)... and get your feedback and get your poems spoken at the same time, without worry of theives.
Luck--

The only thing you can really do is stop posting them.
I had the same problem on a group online, and decided to stop posting them.

Don't post it then. It's very rare to stumble upon a good poet. I find their poems very wise.

My dear, they are not stealing your writings, you are giving them out free by posting them online.
Sorry, but that's life on the web.
