In a few weeks i'm going to this thing to sing a song and read a script. There will be talent scouts there and i've never been to one of these. Is it hard? How is it layed out? Will they contact me? How should i act? What should i wear? HELP!!!!!!!!

Wow, that's fantastic. It's not hard if you go in prepared so really have your song and script learned well. Wear comfortable clothing. Smile, relax, be yourself, and be friendly to everyone. You don't have to be a "chatty kathy" but be genuine and show a "can do" attitude. What a wonderful opportunity. Best of luck!

I don't think there have been any real talent scouts around since the Golden Age of Hollywood.

This sounds like one of those fake showcases that John Casablancas uses to fleece parents out of money.

So I wouldn't worry about it. You're not likely to get any actual work out of this, not matter what you wear or how good you are.

Sorry to be a spash of cold water, but are you certain that this is a reputable audition? It sounds like the same old scam that Powers and Barbizon and others run. Better send me an email with the name of the company who is holding these auditions. I don't want you to get scammed.
