I would literally go crazy if there was no baseball. My summers would be 100% DULL. I usually plan my summer evenings around baseball games, and even get tickets to go to some of the biggest ones. I don't know how I would fill my days or spend my time. I'd always feel like something huge was missing. During the off season, the only comfort I have is knowing that in a few months, baseball will be here again, filling my TV with the familiar sounds of baseball we all know and love...the cracks of balls against bats, announcers voices, fans cheering and so much more. Its what I look forward to all Winter!

I don't know if you're old enough to remember 1981 - no MLB was played between June 12 and August 9 that year because of the players' strike. I got married on July 19, and it was so weird not to have any baseball associated with my wedding, as I was a huge fan at the time.
In 1994 another strike wiped out the season from very early August on. Thank goodness for 300+ cable channels now if another strike ever happens again...

There is nothing like the game of baseball: the tradition, the strategy, the crack of the bat, the sound of the ball popping when it hits the mitt, the smell of the grass in July. I have 3 girls and a son: each one took naps to the sound of the Yankee games in the background. Although my Grandfather was and my father is a Mets fan baseball intertwines generations, connects families, and is the greatest sport, period. So no, I couldn;t imagine a world without baseball. I could imagine a baseball world without steroids, but that is another conversation altogether!

Well, as has been mentioned, the off season is sort of a limbo between heaven and hell. If tomorrow they said, "No more pro baseball" I'd be forlorn, but then, I'd just go out to the little leaguers or pick up games or whatever. If the game were outlawed, I'd have to pick up arms and protest.

It would be boring that's for sure! Baseball is my favorite sport and my favorite TV show too! I have a lot of DVDs so I re-watch a lot of my favorite moments. I would really be sad without baseball.

There will be chaos everywhere. I remember the strike in 1994, that was terrible. A world without baseball would suck. It would be hell on earth.

I know!! Boston and New York fans would have to pollute the sex forum and argue over who has the biggest penises...for 12 straight months.
All you do over the summer is watch baseball? You need a boyfriend/ girlfriend.
