Alan Lee is an exceptional artist who has painted scenes from Tolkein for many Years. He was brought in as an advisor on the recent LOTR films by Peter Jackson.

Check out Dungeons & dragons material, especially the older stuff. Wizards of the coast pretty much stole tolkien's fantasy world and made it into a game. The original D&D game is identical to The hobbit. Check out Wizards.com
