They have a really good team every year. It's impossible to give any sort of realistic guess on when a team will or won't win a World Series, it's such a crapshoot.
Two years ago would anyone outside of St. Louis honestly picked the Cards to win the World Series? They barely squeaked into the playoffs.
And coming into that same season, no one expected the Tigers to be as good as they were. The Twins, Indians and White Sox were all supposed to be battling it out for the division crown and the Tigers came out of nowhere. How about the Rockies this past season, they weren't expected to contend for another couple years and yet they were untouchable in the playoffs...until they sat around and waited for a week...thus killing the momentum.
All-in-all you can make all the guesses you want, but the World Series isn't decided on paper it's decided on the field. The Yankees could win it every year for the next ten years or they could realistically never win another World Series again.

Probably...but I hope not. Haven't the Yankees won enough of them. I'm hoping the Tigers can win another World Series in the next 30 years.

The Yankees are one of a few MLB teams that could win any year. Management is committed to winning and they will do whatever they can to field a winning team every year. So many other owners are not willing to do what it takes to win and the Yankees fans should be very happy they will always have a competitive team.

i think of they're going to definately win one, yet not plenty. He for sure is a drain on the group and clearly is a extensive choker. i don't even understand why the yank's signed him returned. in the event that they could have held out they could are transforming into him greater value-effective. No participant is nicely worth $250 million, yet on my own $3 hundred million.

On paper the Yanks will be the favorites every year due to their payroll and the greatest owners in all of sports: the Steinbrenners. Will it take ten years, probably not; but it takes luck in October to make it all the way and win. Here's to a few breaks going our way in 2008!

No, this is our year! Michael Kay said last year in Yankee Stadium is going to be the best year. Believe the Yankees will leave the Sport's Cathedral as champions. It will also be the beginning of the Hank Era.

No, they'll win it next year or the one after. There's nothing wrong with them that a little money won't cure. :)

It'll take them a while. I don't know exactly how long it will take them to win another one.
