Romney has the ability to say a lot without saying anything. This is pretty powerful in politics. Giuliani has the media backing and its keeping him strong.

Paul and Huckabee represent the parts of the Republican party that feel sort of let down by Bush, but Ron Paul has the disadvantage of having sharing a federalist domestic policy with Thompson (Fred being much less extreme, but a federalist nonetheless.)

Of course, Ron Paul is the one who has been able to draw moderates and left leaning voters that don't show up in the polls, so there is still a chance that he could have a surprising showing in the early primaries.

I think the Republican primary is turning out to be a lot more interesting than the Democratic one, probably because the competition is more diverse in their political beliefs.

If by four, you mean Giuliani, Romney, Huckabee, and Paul, yes. But I think February 5 brings it down to 2, with Romney holding on by his fingertips, hoping that Giuliani will somehow falter.

regrettably, whilst this us of a's' voters are very disenchanted with a celebration's' president, we tend to vote for the choice celebration. ie Carter, Clinton. And hence we finally end up very sorry. i'm afraid that's what's happening now! confident Obama is dropping our time. yet some all and sundry remains disenchanted with bill Clinton. Obama won't step down, so we could desire to step up for McCain, or maybe Clinton, or we danger getting caught with Obama as President.
