FF6 Remake vs. FF7 Remake?

Question

If you could choose one of these games to be remade with PS3 graphics which would you choose and why. Please no bias answers, only answer if you have played both, and please give a reason why.

Personally I would have to choose FF6 just because FF7 has already had a 3D game made for them, and FF6 storyline is alot more deeper than the FF7 storyline. Plus Kefka is the best FF villian ^^

I totally agree, I'd love to see a remake of FF6. It was my first RPG, and it made me a fan of the whole RPG genre. It had a great story, good characters, and like you said, "The best villain ever"! I'm tired of the FF7 hype, let's see a FF6 remake!

FFVI. I think it is the best FF game to date. I know most people think that FFVII is the best FF game, but they're wrong. FFVI is.

FFVI characters are much more robust than FFVII characters. FFVI characters actually have a reason for what they're doing: so save the world so that the orphans have a safe world to live in. That's actually a good plot. FFVII is more about taking down the big corporation that's polluting the planet. That's been overdone.

And the light world and the dark world would be good to look at in next gen graphics.

For FFVII, It would be cool to see Knights of the Round in next gen graphics. I wonder how long it would take before it's completely finished. 10 minutes, 12 minutes, 1 hour?

John chippie's the element is extensively held up as being greater effective than the 1950's unique. I liked the three:10 to Yuma remake. great became a remake and became greater efficient than the unique.

personally i would go with final fantasy 5, theres way to much stuff to list, but the storyline is freaking amazing and i LIIIIIKE it, ok bye
