When I was 16 years old, I was in a roll over accident .
I was sitting in the front seat passenger position and not wearing a seat belt. (back then it wasn't mandatory to wear a belt). My buddy Frank was driving and I was half asleep, as we had been partying at the beach all day.
I'm not sure how we hit the other car, but I know Frank was driving way too fast. Anyway, we flipped and I did a superman out the window.
You have no idea how terrifying it is, to be so out of control of your situation.
I flew (flailed) into a hedgerow and finished my flight onto a gravel parking lot. Somehow I escaped getting any broken bones, but I severely damaged my Achilles tendon on my left leg. I also had to have five pieces of wood removed from my back and two from my left leg, not to mention a severe case of road rash.
When I quit rolling on the ground, I didn't know I was hurt for a couple minutes, as I was numb (in shock?). It wasn't until I got my bearings and tried to get up that the pain seized me.
I blacked out and briefly woke up, when I was in the ambulance. Thank god for opiate drugs, I never want to be in that kind of pain again.
My buddy wasn't wearing a seat belt either, unfortunately he was crushed by the car and didn't survive the wreak.
For weeks, I had nightmares and relived the crash every night. It took almost six months to fully recover from that wreak.

When I was a volunteer firefighter. We were fighting a fire through the main entrance of the building. I was the back up man on the hose. We were on our knees working in the doorway. With the flames rolling out over the top of the entrance. We decided it was getting to hot and we backed out. No sooner had we backed out when the roof caved in right where we were just at. If we had been there we would have been killed or hurt bad. Scared me to death thinking about it.

the incident that scared me to death had to be when i almost did die i guess. when i was about 6 or 7 i 1st choked on a sucking candy. luckly my dad got it out.but the scariest had to be when i choked the 2nd time on a chukie cheese token. the fact that i could not breathand was turning colors and could have died scares me i think now more then it did then.

None yet. To date, I've lived through them all. Although, I can say that reading Helter Skelter, about Charles Manson and his "family" came pretty close.

Well, nothing yet, as I am still alive! I've unfortunately had several scary moments in my life, but I'd say being held up at gun point was probably number one.
