Birth control pill or shot?

Ok I am thinkin bout using birth control because I am beginning to get sexually active and I just want to know should I use the pill or take the shot. Also what are the side effects for both?

Please do not take the shot!

There are many horrible side affects and health risks that a majority of women have that would have me never recommend the shot to anyone.

I was on it for years and it was horrible.

I'm on the pill now, and a lot healthier than I ever was on the shot.
