Actually, it would be someone who is a little more moderate in their approach to propagandizing, like Beck. He get's just close enough to the truth that some of what he says seems semi-plausible.

But the rest of those guys and gals (I'm giving Coulter the benefit of the doubt here)... are so delusional that only those already profoundly deluded could buy into their twisted thinking.

Edit: I was thinking of the talking heads. Rove is in another category, and yes... he's the most able propagandist of the group.

As much as I hate all of the people you listed, there's one word I would use to describe them all: Smart.

Ann Coulter knows exactly what needs to be said in order for her to get publicity and sell her books. The more controversial she is, the more money she makes. She isn't really a propagandist... instead I'd call her a harpie.

Savage, Limbaugh, and O' Reilly also know exactly what should be said in order to get the attention necessary to get their high ratings. These are the only three that I think are actually propagandists.

Karl Rove is probably the smartest of the group. He realizes what is necessary to destroy your opponent and win elections. I wouldn't necessary call him a propagandist... more of a strategist.

Rove is much more an evil manipulator than a crude propagandist like the rest.

The best at disseminating propaganda would certainly be Karl Rove...

The others just support whatever he tells them to and get rich for it.

Depends on which version of the "truth" you subscribe to -- the one supported by logic or the one supported by emotion.

Using Wikipedia's definition (i.e. "propaganda in its most basic sense presents information in order to influence its audience"), I'd have to say Rush.

Using the incorrect but popular definition (i.e. "spreads lies") and I'd again have to say Rush.

None of the above could be described as "best," because "best" is the superlative of "good," and none of the above could be described as "good." Want to try for "worst"? "Sleaziest"? "Biggest scumbag"? "Blowhardest"? "Mouthbreathingest"? "Knuckledraggingest"?
