She is terrified of driving in the snow and goes into a panic if she does. She even panics when I'm the one driving. What can I do to help her overcome this irrational fear?

I don't think it's that irrational, I hate driving in snow too, I don't panic but I certainly do what I can to avoid it, probably because I've been in some car accidents and snow makes me more nervous.

Definitely have her practice in the snow like some other answerers said. If she is the one riding with you, assure her periodically, like, "This vehicle has all-wheel drive, it is handling the snow just fine"......"I am leaving a lot of stopping distance between me and this car"......."I am taking the turn slowly so my wheels can keep their traction". I know they might sound like obvious things but if she starts to think about all the things in her favor, that are working to prevent her from any negative car interaction with the snow, it should help. I know that kind of thinking helps me. :)

Go out into an open field or a parking lot and let her drive around for a while and get the hang of it.

what do you drive?
hopefully it's an SUV with 4 wheel drive. this often makes people feel more secure. (works for me)
take her out in a big open area (parkinglot) and have her practice
