Utah Jazz

There is a many of reason while i choose the Utah Jazz. The players have improved over the summer and will continue to improve even more.
They have a really great coach which in fact signed for another year. YES YES YES
They can beat really good teams without some key players such as Carlos Boozer and Memhet Okur.

The Utah Jazz are the better of the two teams as they have a better overall team then the Houston Rockets do.

Did you see the game last night against LA? The Jazz. For all of the moaning from fans and media, Sloan knows how to develop good players into a great team. Last night's showing was that of a well-disciplined group of individuals (playing without lead scorer Boozer), who, nonetheless, came together as a team to trounce the Lakers. It was a great contrast of Sloan's philosophy of all around play and emphasis on defense, and a team that posts wins because of one star player. I think in the end, this will be the year that brings back Sloan's type of coaching team play, instead of the one-man lead us to victory mentality which has been permeating the league.

I repeat it is seventh seed or bust! Utah will win Memphis has no longer something to play for, they are caught at #5. the two Lakers beat Houston or they're going to take a seat at domicile and anticipate Kobe's return.

Well the Jazz proved last night by scoring 120 against the Lakers that they're probally the best in the west. Not to mention they were without Boozer yesterday.

utah jazz
the good
-they have a hall of fame coach
-they run a more efficient offense thanks largely to deron williams
-an impressive utility player in kirilenko
-the boozer-williams combo is impressive

the bad
-they have one of the shortest frontcourt lineup in the league making them susceptible to a team with tall and talented forwards/center
-incapable of stopping penetration by quick guards

if houston could figure out a better way to maximize yao, figure out their point guard rotation, and find that consistent third option, they have the ability to go deep in the playoffs. but that's too many ifs.

houston rockets. t mac's is really good this year. he must be mad, cuz he lost in the first round like 4 times or something. But neither of them are gunna go far because the lakers will crush them both. ^^
