She would make him something. A new robe or sandals. A special meal. A bag to carry things in. Possibly buy a special fruit or meat not usually had in their house or a favorite treat.

She would make him some dinner and wash his feet. I don't think they had stores back than so everything was made by hand. Boy those people back than got really old, like 800 to 980 years.

I don't think she would buy him something. I think she probably would have made him something, like a shirt. I don't think they had a lot of money to buy things. And there were no Walmarts.
