My parents don't have a cell phone. But I could give one for emergencies. How do they work? $20 FOR A 60 MIN CARD.
So you get a phone and card for 20? Thenwill it last untill the 60 min are gone? like years?
Do they work on gsm or cdma?

depending on the network you choose. the Verizon network has a new plan for 65 plus for the elderly, and for two lines you have 450 min to share for 59.99 a month, with unlimited nights/weekend/mobile2mobile and they also just came out with this special phone that it's special for elderly, it has a big display and 911 button and 3 emergency num at a very affordable price...also they have another option for a pre-pay plan called the Inpulse, which is no credit check, and no contract, the cheapest one .99 cents per daily usage, and in addition you can buy minutes, and each minute is .10 cents, and the if the minutes aren't they roll over to the next month, they vary $15 to 150$, it's whatever you want to put in..
i hope this helps.
