I hate getting useless gifts for people or gifts they can't enjoy. But I don't want to spend my whole pay for a month to get everyone nice gifts.

What are some nice but non-expensive gifts.

I've got my mom, dad, brother and maybe my co-workers in my dept there's like (6).

Tim horton/ Star Buck Gift Cards for everyone

If you are going with useful gifts go with experience type gifts or food. It's used and gone. It doesn't clutter the house. Candle and Bath products everyone has enough of that stuff.

For inexpensive gifts, I found that Avon.com. Yes, Avon, the beauty place has an array of gifts for both men, women, kids and puppy.

My aunt recently got two bath sets, a men's cologne set and a pair of shoes for herself and spent less than $60. There is a another pair on the way for around $10.

They have some high-end items and some low end items. Just go to the website or find an Avon representative and look at the book for their line of items. Very good quality.

Just a tip: The Gelled Body Oil is a pip.

I'm with Violet- have some togetherness. Bake some cookies with family or Friends and make enough so everyone has some to bring home. Or throw a party with everyone bringing something to nosh on.

You can always do the Secret Santa thing at work where everyone draws a name and only buys for that one person. Set a dollar limit.

Yes I like the food gifts idea too!

My family are all readers, so a lot of books make the rounds at Christmas. Some of them come from discount book catalogues - new books, but a fraction of the cost, I add some chocolates, tea or coffee, or an item that reflects what the book's about. For example, a brother gets a book about Ireland, and a CD of Irish music.

pocket knives are always good and useful and can range in price from cheap to expensive. Women like cute little picture frames to put on their desk.
