Just curious, Since my boyfriend and I don't have money to take a honeymoon after our wedding, I want to put our pictures in a bottle and launch it in the ocean, so we can imagine some exotic journey.

Any chance it could end up somewhere nice....or do we end up at the bottom of the ocean--drowned?

What a lovely idea.

Use a really strong bottle (champagne or sparkling wine) with a plastic cork, and seal it with silicone sealant. Put your address inside so that if it is found, the finder can let you know.Throw the bottle in the sea just after high tide, preferably off the end of a pier or jetty.

Good luck in your journey through life.

Well, you need to look up tidal charts, to see where the sea tends to take things out, and where it tends to dump things. Otherwise, your bottle may wind up in Hoboken, New Jersey. Oh, wait, that might not be near the shore. LOL.

Anyway, there are probably some online tide charts and ocean current charts, which will be of some use to get your bottle out to sea further. You could also pay a small sum to a shrimp boat captain, and have him dump it out at sea 10-20 miles, so it has a better chance of making some exotic place. Have fun with it!

i might merely write my call and handle and enclose a image and want that Sean Connery is out fishing that day,B. - properly that's an prolonged shot yet relatively worth a try!xx i'm going all the way down to grant my son a message so i might prefer a bottle or 2 as quickly as I return because of the fact that's not elementary!

It'll go somewhere.
