Im talking about electronic dance music...like trance, house, breakbeats, jungle ...that kind of stuff. Do you like this kind of music or not? Why or why not?

I love it, but it took a while. I grew up in the 80's and retro 80's may be all the rage these days, but 80's music sucked. Anybody with taste listened to 70's classic rock. Or metal; whatever. So I had a big block to get past to enjoy music that's "just pushing buttons". I think Aphex Twin really helped me out there. He does stuff that's impossible without a computer. And if you want to hear what I think is as good as electronica gets, check out 1.8.7's The Cities Collection.

I liked it before, but thought it was pretty mindless.

In high school, I took a class called computer music...it was kind of a lottery thing because there were only 6 places. We got to compose projects and had all the stuff to for it. I was really surprised at how difficult it is to make something that sounds really good. It's not as easy to do as it seems.

I think it's OK,in my opinion some songs do begin to sound a bit 'samey' like there is this 2007 Cascada remix of a song which sounds fairly similar to one of her own songs.Although I don't mind songs by Calvin Harris I actually quite like his music lol.

It's less expensive to produce than non-electronic music.
