If so, for how long?
No need to say the reason why.
I got hospitalized because of a virus. I was in the hospital for 7 days, and it sucked... I don't mind needles and stuff, but the IV they put in me was in a place that prevented me from bending my elbow... talk about uncomfortable... and being woken up all the time just when you need the sleep the most is the pits!

I was NPO for 3 days. I didn't feel good enough to eat or drink, that's how severe it was. And I was Jaundice. Occasionally, that virus effects the liver. So, it freaked me out! Especially when my tests for Mono kept coming back negative.... anyone in health care or who is knowledgeable about the liver knows what I mean!

i also got the tip of my index finger smashed off in an electric fence, you know the kind with a code to open it. i was laughing historically but when my dad saw it he puked, i was 12.

1) 2 weeks as a child for a car accident, mostly in a coma 2) three different times overnight as an adult. Never could get any real sleep as they would be either waking me up or coming into my room all hours of the day and night. It's not a place to get some rest, that's for sure.

I did. Many times when I was a baby, spending a total of 6 or 7 months, I think, in different hospitals. Then twice in my childhood, for chek-up reasons related to my early hospitalisations. I also had 2 small surgeries - my tonsils and my appendix removed, which also required hospitalisations, and several other check in's related to respiratory problems. Yes, my health stinks too, just like everybody else's, I suppose.
And I HATE, HATE, HATE I.V.'s most of them gave me loads of discomfort.

Yes, I have been in the hospital several times. The longest was for six days and actually I kind of enjoyed it. I had all of my meals served to me and I didn't have to do any house keeping. If you ever need a IV again, it is much better in your hand.

I had a herniated disk in my back once. I spent two days in the hospital. Wasn't much fun. The nurses were very nice though.
