when a cute little Yamster Angel appeared before me and said "Chill out Gran, for I bring you good tidings. As long as you stay on line with Q and A you will not die. Your right hand may turn into an arthritic claw requiring drugs and surgery, but you will not die!" My question is: should I believe him or not? After all, the Questions just keep coming, and he WAS an Angel sent by Yahoo. But what type of Angel, I wonder? Could this be some sort of fiendish trick to keep me chained to my pc? If so, for what purpose, I ask you?

Note: meant to say "right hand may WITHER",not simply "turn".

When you were asleep, the Yamster fairy snuck in and planted a chips in your brain that makes you putter to the 'puter and enter Q and A. It happened to all of us. Some have figured out how to de-activate the chip. Others are hooked into the Yahoo network indefinitely. The purpose? To torture one another with questions such as "Am I pregnant?" and "Does he like me." and "Does God really exist?" It is endless and it is a test.

We are being tested. Will we pass the test or will be continue to come back to rack up points by answering these questions over and over, pretending the questioners are our sons, daughters, parents, and lovers? Will we continue to think somehow we are making a difference in their lives, when truthfully, they rarely ever read the answer, but leave them hanging for some one else to gain a point by clicking on the answer and voting for it? That question is only ours to answer.

I've already beaten the reaper once in 94 when I woke from a ten day coma and survived a year in the hospital with horrendous injuries. I aint afeared of the sucker. RScott

You can believe him alright. I think YA keeps lots of people alive and happy. But there is life away from the pc so you need to find the right balance of time here and time off. You may require carpal tunnel surgery eventually.

Oh Great One, it is a sign that your questions and answers are essential to the senior section. Heed the Angel but keep a good balance between this site and your real life. Amen.
