Only an attorney that doesn't know what they are doing would be foolish enough to take a credit card for a bankruptcy. You cannot choose to leave the credit card out of the bankruptcy, you have to list it. If you deliberately charge something to it without the intention of paying it back, that debt will be deemed nondischargeable.
Attorneys that regularly practice bankruptcy will refuse to take credit cards. If you pay by personal check, expect to wait a couple weeks because they want it to clear before they go an file the case. Otherwise you need to pay by cash, money order, or something similar. You have to pay the fees in full before filing a chapter 7. For a chapter 13 it depends on the attorney, but still no credit cards.

Most lawyers I know and my friends have used don't accept credit cards, only cold, hard cash. Why should they pay the fees and then chance having bankruptcy happen.
If you want to use your card to pay go get a cash advance and then pay the fees and extra interest charges. Although, in todays rules you can't always get out of paying your debts by bankruptcy any more becuase of people running out and charging up a storm and then declaring bankruptcy. Too many have cheated the system and taken advantage of it.
IMHO you should pay what you morally owe.

You can pay with the credit card....but you can not then use that as one of the ones you would file bankruptcy against.
While your credit is still good take out a credit card with a limit of what the bankruptcy is going to cost.
After the bankruptcy all the money you save can be put on that card to repay them.
