It is the kind you put an umbrella through. I put the umbrella in, but the rest is still outside....we are supposed to get 6" of snow today....should I bring it inside in the basement?

It doesn't matter. I had one like that, and we left it out all winter and nothing happened to it, so it should be fine outside.

It will be fine. If there is any metal on it, it may rust though. But the glass won't shatter unless the temperature goes from one extreme to another very quickly. Take the umbrella out of it and move it under some sort of shelter. Or cover it with a tarp.

If you do it carefully, it can work. Wait for a day where it is fairly warm out. Move him into a cool area of your home or a room where you can open the window a bit. Keep him there for a couple days while he gets used to the indoor temperature. Once he seems comfortable, you can move him to where you would like to keep him in the house. Be prepared for him to shed quite a bit. He could start to moult with the higher temperature inside and that would mean a lot of fur around. Brush him often and keep the cage clear of as much fur as you can.

We live in a cold climate and we leave ours outside. Your windows are glass and they dont shatter from the cold and neither will your table. They are made of tempered thick glass to withstand temperature changes.

Erm, ignore that other guy ;). What I think he was trying to say was yes, it's just common sense.

The temperature changes can affect the glass... it's not winter just yet, so I'd say take it down to the basement for the winter.

If it might freeze (no not the glass nothing can happen to that) but if if it might freeze and there are trees over it, put it somewhere safe, limbs probably WILL fall off when weighted down with ice and smash your beautiful table.

It would be recommended if you have any possible place to put it. Glass can lose some of its integrity from extreme temperatures. Also, anything metal would have longer years of use from rust.

I don't bring mine in and my table is over 8 years old.

The glass is tempered and as long as you don't hit it hard you will be OK.
